Description
Otto I of Limburg Regiment of Horse was raised in 1620 for service under ErnstVonMansfeld. It was recruited in the Netherlands and initially numbered 400 men in 4 troops. In 1622 it got new recruits again from the Netherlands, now numbering 600-700 men in 6-7 troops. During the Bohemian Campaign, it is noted as being the most ill-disciplined regiment causing all sorts of damage in Bohemia, but this behavior seems to have disappeared by 1622
