But soon after Andres was overthrown by a coup in ## ## which was a pro-Spanish effort to bring a Spanish monarch on the throne of the Philipines. eventually though in #### Ser #### an o Aq ui no , an anti-Spanish General. lead his army to overthrow the spanish starting the 2nd Filipino Revolution. in #### The Filipinos defeated the spanish and Ser #### an o became king With the archipelago divided in ## the sultan of the south controlled the south while Ser #### an o controlled the north.
