Description

The Imperial Senate was the legislative assembly of the Galactic Empire that constituted one of the last remnants of the Old Republic. Unlike its predecessor, the Imperial Senate held a purely consultative role and was to ensure the passage of any laws and legislation required by Emperor Sheev Palpatine. Chaired by the Grand Vizier, the Imperial Senate was responsible for the proposal and execution of bills which would benefit the Empire and its extravagant use of power.
