Fan group for the 3x Stanley Cup Champion, Tampa Bay Lightning. Oh, we also make Lightning shirts! The Tampa Bay Lightning were established in 1992 by Hockey Hall of Fame member Phil Esposito. They played their first regular season game on October 7th, 1992. They first made the playoffs in 1996 and won their first few playoff games. 2003 saw the team's first division championship, where they finished first in the Southeast division. In 2003, they also won their first playoff series in franchise history 4-2 over the Washington Capitals. In 2004, the Lightning repeated as Southeast division champions and even finished as the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference. They defeated the Philadelphia flyers in Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Final and advanced to the 2004 Stanley Cup. They won their first Stanley Cup in 7 games over the Calgary Flames. Since then, the Lightning have won two more division titles, a Presidents' Trophy, two conference championships, and two more Stanley Cups.
