Description

Velvetblood Court is a social-intrigue roleplay centered around a court where influence is power. Strength is admired, but words and secrets rule. Every cat—noble or not—has a role to play. Your character’s rise or fall depends on who they trust, what they know, and how well they can play the game. Centuries ago, after a war shattered the old forest clans, a group of exiles—nobles, oracles, and peacemakers—settled in the mountains. They rejected blood-based ranks and warrior law, building a court system based on elegance, diplomacy, and reputation. Their leader, Velveta, wore red silk to her final battle and died on a bed of thorns—creating the term “Velvetblood.” The Rosehall Fortress was built atop her burial site and became the symbolic heart of the court.
