Description
The Ducal Nassau Gendarmerie was founded in 1808, under the command of the former commander of the 4th Nassau Batallion, and formed from the gendarmeries and forestry ministries of it'd acquired territories. These men would be tasked with ensuring the security of the nation, fighting roaming bands of brigands such as the "Geigen-Hannes".
