Description
Government: Constitutional Monarchy Russia is a nation based off of historical events, however Russia now follows a new path of democracy and traditional power. We see this change occur during 1825, which in our timeline was crushed and defeated. For this group however, the Decemberists were able to influence the government to establish a constitution! The new #### convenes a Constitutional convention in St. Petersburg. The most celebrated part of the Constitution is the part abolishing serfdom, allowing the peasants (formerly serfs) to move into the cities to search for work. Another milestone is the establishment of a parliament called the Duma, consisting of a House of Commons (elected by the people) and a House of Boyars (appointed by the ###### The constitution establishes a federal structure, granting semi-limited autonomy to dependent republics. It also included a Bill of Rights similar to that of the United States. The first Duma elections take place on the 1st anniversa
