Description

𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐘 In terms of tactics, it has been suggested that by the time of the Crimean War, the British Army was remarkably similar to its previous composition in the Napoleonic Wars. With the emergence of the Industrial Revolution and an expansion in the Middle Class, commissions were still purchased by moderately wealthy Middle Class citizens. The Army's adjustments were modest, but this would all change with the Chadwell and Childxers Reforms of 1868 and 1881, where regiments were subsequently amalgamated and the army underwent the much-needed modernisation. In our portrayal, we endeavour to historically represent and illustrate the British army during the Crimean War. I hope you can enjoy our preservation and representation of history, and with my endeavours; I hope to see you progress! That said, stay safe and have fun. 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 Commanding-in-Chief: Harry T.
