𝟖𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 "𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯" The 82nd Airborne Division was a U.S. Army unit that was formed during World War II, specifically to serve as an airborne infantry division capable of rapid deployment behind enemy lines. The division played a significant role in the Allied invasion of Sicily, the Italian campaign, the D-Day invasion of Normandy, and the Battle of the Bulge. The 82nd Airborne Division was known for its bravery and expertise in parachute drops, often operating in extremely difficult terrain.
