Est. 1861 The 18th Georgian Regiment was an Infantry Regiment founded in Georgia spring with a little to 750 personnel and later on fought in multiple campaigns in the civil war. The 18th Georgian Regiment had 10 companies, the main companies being; Company A: Cob County — "Acworth Infantry" Company B: Newton County — "Newton Rifles" Company C: Jackson County — "Jackson County Volunteers"
