Description
Who we are? The FPBC, also known as the Belgian-Congolese Private Forces is a force with the combination of Congolese and Belgians fighting and training together. Originally part of the Belgian Army. Our History In 1939, the FPBC was started by King Leo III to prevent enemy forces attacking Belgium and the Belgian Kingdom Of Congo, now known as the Democratic Republic Of Congo. The first deployed troops of the FPBC were deployed in the German Invasion of Belgium on 1940. After the surrender of Belgium, the FPBC were forced to remain concealed in Switzerland. In 1950, a nationalist movement created by the Congolese people, defeated Belgian colonialism. The FPBC would eventually choose to become a private army, in 1960.
