Description
The Calleton Federation is an Executive Crowned Republic on the Calletonian Island Chain in the North Atlantic. Officially founded in 1826 but dating back centuries further, the Federation has gone through a number of constitutional changes in its long history. Originating from a group of native tribes and clans who arrived 9000 years ago from the British and Irish isles, the people of Calleton have a distinctly diverse culture with deep influences from Native American, Celtic, West African, and European cultures. Calleton was one of the few Kingdoms that successfully resisted European colonisation, allowing it to become a safe haven for neighbours in distress.
