Description
𝐆𝐎𝐓𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐓 𝐔𝐍𝐒 1871 - 1947 🥁Kaiserliche Deutsches Militär It is October 1919, and soldiers of the Imperial German military march proudly through the streets of Paris. The "Weltkrieg," the War to End All Wars, has at last drawn to a close. The conflict was the ultimate test for the Imperial German military, thrusting it into a global struggle against three of the world’s most powerful armies. Yet beneath the surface, the German military was far from flawless. It suffered from deep interservice rivalries, a lack of central coordination, and an officer corps dominated by aristocrats who often disregarded the strategic level of war. These issues gave rise to internal cliques, fracturing unity throughout the ranks.
