It is the primary agency concerned with providing close-in security and escorts to the Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Staff of the Philippines, and their immediate families. In addition, we also provide security services to the AFP Headquarters, and Allied Diplomats. MSG consists of 1 unit and 3 Battalions. The Presidential Escorts the major security force for the Commander in Chief, The Headquarters Service Battalion, the primary Headquarters bodyguards, and The Special Reaction Force, the support unit and it is the most elite unit of MSG, that is specialized in combat and tactical missions or operations.
