Description
To fulfil President Lincoln's promise “To care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan” by serving and honouring the men and women who are the State's veterans. The Military Officers Association of Ridgeway is an authority with public responsibilities in managing retired Veterans. The Association is intertwined with the National Guard but remains independent of its command elements. It participates in lobbying activities in pursuit of its mission statement. The Association is ran by an Agency Administrator and is a member of, and elected by, the Board of Veterans Appeals. The Board is the final arbitrator in all admission and removal appeals.
