Description
The Iraqi Special Operations Forces are a special operations force of Iraq. The unit was created in 1950, but was disbanded and recruited from scratch by coalition forces after the 2003 invasion. The forces, directed by the Iraqi Counter ######### Service, consist of the Iraqi Counter ######### Command, which has three brigades subordinate to it. The Counter ######### Service is funded by the Iraq Ministry of Defence
