Superior Court of the City of Arcadia City of Arcadia • State of Tacoma Established: 1888 The Superior Court of the City of Arcadia is the highest trial and judicial authority within the City of Arcadia, capital of the State of Tacoma. Established in 1888, the Court exercises jurisdiction over civil, criminal, and administrative matters arising under city and state law. Presided over by the City Chief Judge and Deputy Chief Judge, the Superior Court ensures fair and impartial justice, protecting the constitutional rights of all individuals while upholding the integrity of the judicial system. The Court operates in coordination with the Arcadia Police Department (APD), City Attorney’s Office, and Arcadia Police Correctional Service to administer due process, enforce rulings, and maintain the rule of law throughout the capital.
