Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Group #14343731
Description
This group is to raise awareness for Juvenile Arthritis. Don't know what Juvenile Arthritis is? Here: The most common type of childhood arthritis is juvenile idiopathic arthritis, also known as juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Childhood arthritis can cause permanent physical damage to joints. This damage can make it hard for the child to do everyday things like walking or dressing and can result in disability. Juvenile Arthritis is a chronic condition, meaning it can last days to months to years. Sometimes the symptoms just go away with treatment, which is known as remission. Remission may last months and years, or a person's lifetime. In fact, many teens with Juvenile Arthritis eventually enter full remission with little or no permanent joint damage. In my case, (the owner's of the group's) I have had Juvenile Arthritis for about 2 yrs. I am currently on weekly injections and am on my way to remission.
