Royal Air Force (RAF), youngest of the three British armed services, charged with the air defense of the United Kingdom and the fulfillment of international defense commitments. It is the world's oldest independent air Role; The RAF works with partners around the world to strengthen national and international security and to protect the interests and influence of the UK and our allies. We identify and manage threats before they materialise through intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR). The Royal Air Force (RAF) is the United Kingdom's air and space force. It was formed towards the end of the First World War on 1 April 1918, becoming the first independent air force in the world, by regrouping the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) and the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS).
