Neopolis, a totalitarian superstate was formed following the unition of Europe in 2100. Known for its omnipresent government surveillance, propaganda, and violations of freedom of expression, it is a feared regime lead by 'the Bureau'. All information imparted to the population is given by 'The Announcer' also called 'The Voice', the Right Hand Man of the Premier, and is often subject to propaganda or cult of personality of the Head of State, 'The Premier'.
