𝒫𝐸𝑅 𝑀𝒜𝑅𝐸 𝐸𝒯 𝒯𝐸𝑅𝑅𝒜 Ever since the French Kings looked toward colonizing the Americas, specialised troops were needed to protect them. In 1689, the Marines were formed from former regiments to accomplish this task. They were trained and fitted to fight in the wild lands of North America. They fought bravely in Montcalm's raids and the many battles of the Seven Years War. Distinguishing themselves as one of the best.
