Description
DE: Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde der größte Teil des Reichsgebiets durch die Siegermächte in Besatzungszonen eingeteilt. Durch den Zusammenschluss als Bizone und später Trizone zu einem Vereinigten Wirtschaftsgebiet entfielen die Grenzen der Besatzungszonen in Westdeutschland. So bezog sich der Begriff „Zonengrenze“ nur noch auf die Grenze zwischen der Sowjetischen Besatzungszone und dem Besatzungsgebiet der Westalliierten in Deutschland. EN: After the Second World War, most of the Reich territory was divided into occupation zones by the victorious powers. Due to the merger as Bizone and later Trizone to form a United Economic Area, the borders of the occupation zones in West Germany were abolished. Thus, the term "zone border" referred only to the border between the Soviet occupation zone and the occupation area of the Western Allies in Germany.
