Shizukana Umi| 静かな海 Dojo is a martial arts community that studies the art form of water. Shizukana Umi’s true meaning is, “Quiet Sea”. Water takes up 60% of OUR bodies, and 71% of the world we live in today. Wildfires that humans were never able to put out were saved by precipitating water, us fighters are heros, have self control and balance, just as if we are the water… Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
