Description
The Hong Kong Police Tactical Unit was formed back in 1958 as to provide Internal Security, riot control, crowd control and respond to disasters throughout the New Territories, Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. They were given the nickname, “The Blue Berets” as they were one of the first units to use the beret on duty. 香港警察機動部隊成立於 1958 年，負責在新界、九龍和港島提供內部安全、防暴、控制人群和應對災難。 他們獲得了“藍色貝雷帽”的綽號，因為他們是第一批在值班時使用貝雷帽的單位 Our motto: “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” 我們的座右銘：“不計劃就是計劃失敗。” Requirements in order to join: In HKPF, being a Police Constable+ Pass a selection or get chosen by a Deputy Commander or above. After you joined: After basic training, you will be assigned to one out of the two main companies. (A company and B company.)
