However the Government in Santa Fe in not different compare to the government in Washington. Many people want a local Government that would them. In the early months of 1860 many people from South of the Gila River finish up a Constitution to become a new Territory of the U.S however this is stop by the Civil War. Having enough from the North and South. They form a new country called Arizona. Protecting its unique Mexican-American culture. With a New Emperor they claim all lands east of the Colorado to the Rio Grande.
