Description
𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗰 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀 : Serviciul Sanitar Românesc was founded right after the reorganisation of the Romanian Army in 1860 during Alexandru Ioan Cuza Reign. Serviciul Sanitar Românesc had 3 subbranches dedicated to saving the lives of humans and animals. This Service had direct ties to the International Red Cross and was classified as a non combatant part of the Royal Romanian Army but many field medics had to carry a rifle on the Eastern Front due Russia's multiple violations of the Geneva Convention.
