Description
The Commonwealth Police Force, also known as the Commonwealth Security Force, is the primary law enforcement agency in the Commonwealth of Antarctica's many settlements across the continent. It is militarized, and maintains barracks in every settlement, as well as a small patrol navy stationed on Ross Island. The Security Force is tasked with protecting the commonwealth from foreign and domestic threats. However, it is not authorized to engage in offensive actions unless the Commonwealth's maritime territory (everything south of the 60th Parallel South) is violated by a foreign navy, or if Antarctica's shores are violated by foreign military units. The only exception is foreign police forces, which are allowed to send police to their respective research stations as necessary.
