The house of Habsburg-Lorraine originates from the union of Maria Theresa of Austria and Francis III, Duke of Lorraine in the year 1736. The house consists of the surviving members of the two Houses of Habsburg and Lorraine and until this day it still thrives for excellence through its descendants.
