👮 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦 & 𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 In the United States, a SWAT team is generic term for a law enforcement unit that uses specialized or military equipment and tactics. The NPS SWAT team is responsible for countering any hostile threat that could put visitors or staff in danger. Very rarely utilized they are the most elite unit the park has at it's disposal. 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 • Must pass a Special Weapons & Tactics Team Tryout. • Must be approved by the division overseer.
