Sırr-ı Kâl'a (The Secret of the Castle.) --------------------------------------------------- I. Afyonkarahisar's “Secret of the Stone” Place and Time of Establishment: Near the Afyonkarahisar Mevlevihanesi or around a historical library/madrasa. Period of establishment: the turbulent period following the Tanzimat (1870s-1880s). This was a period that witnessed both the effects of Westernisation and the rise of secret societies.
