The Commonwealth of Nations was established in 1926, as stated in the Declaration of 1926. Since the great atomic catastrophe of the 1950s, the Commonwealth of Nations has been reestablished as a means of maintaining and protecting British sovereignty and dominance amongst its Dominions and territories.
