/Am•mah•cot/ Found in November 1868 - Protege nostrum Territorium History; Ammaquot was a territory occupied by the Southern Wessix Tribe. Shortly after the American Civil war, explorers discovered a new piece of land and notified the government about the possibility of a large iron-mine located within the area. The natives of the land weren't too fond in losing their land. The natives and the explorers went into wars, until forming a treaty. 4 years later the State of Ammaquot was officially founded by Governor Williams in 1868. The territory is surrounded by rivers, forests, mountains and possesses a very large iron reserve. The state capital is located in Hopeford, It is famous for its large hilly terrain, and beautiful buildings. However, there are many counties in Ammaquot, Hopeford is considered the heart, due to holding the state capital, Willow Arbor.
