Model United Nations can best be described as a more formal debate club. Model UN works by you, as a delegate, being assigned a country, council, and topic to debate on. -- CAQ: Q: How do I become a delegate? A: You need dizzy and need to be comfortable speaking in front of people. You also need to be willing to put in the work so you can be the best delegate possible! Q: How does it work? A: A Model UN meeting is completely controlled by the delegates. While the chairs, (people who run the meeting) may suggest things, they have no true say in what goes on. The delegates are able to motion for a caucus, the time, topic, whether it's formal. Then the delegates will each decide whether they want to debate in this caucus or not through a vote. Q: Why should I join Model UN? A: Model UN is a super fun activity that I recommend for anyone!
