⭐️ 8-y Pekhotnaya Korpus The 8th Infantry Korps of the Russian Army in 1812 was one of the formations that participated in the French invasion of Russia, also known as the Patriotic War of 1812. The corps played a significant role in the campaign, particularly during the Battle of Borodino and the subsequent retreat of the Russian Army. Under the command of Lieutenant General Mikhail Borozdin, the 8th Infantry Korps was part of the Second Western Army commanded by General Pyotr Bagration.
