United States Tank Destroyer Forces 1940's #14825766
Military & clansENmilitary historyWorld War IIUS Army
Description
The Tank Destroyer Force was established November 27, 1941 by the War Department to supplement the inadequate fighting power of the Armored Force. Their mission is to SEEK, STRIKE, DESTROY, which is achieved through speed, stealth, and firepower. The Tank Destroyer patch symbolizes the spirit of its members; a black panther crushing a tank in its jaws.
