𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐖𝐎𝐎𝐃 House Blackwood was among the riverlords who remained loyal to the Targaryen crown during the Blackfyre conflict, opposing many of their traditional rivals who declared for Daemon. Their loyalty was strengthened by ties to Brynden Rivers, better known as Bloodraven, whose mother came from House Blackwood. Bloodraven became one of the most feared and influential defenders of the red dragon, using spies, archers, and ruthless strategy against the rebellion. The Blackwoods valued duty to the crown above the ambitions of rebellious lords and stood against the growing chaos consuming the realm. Long known for their ancient traditions and rivalry with House Bracken, they carried old honor into a new and brutal war. Their support for the Iron Throne helped secure royal influence throughout the Riverlands during the rebellion.
