Description
Commander, Navy Region Northwest Police Department "People first, mission always." ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ NRNW Police is the law enforcement branch arming the Commander, Navy Region Northwest with law enforcement manpower, force protection, antiterrorism, coastal security and naval installation security. NRNW Police protects shore installations in the Navy Region Northwest, the Navy's 3rd largest fleet concentration area. NRNW Police is primarily composed of sailors in the Master-at-arms rating and is led by an ashore installation security program. NRNW Police is responsible to the Commander, Naval Installations Command and Commander, Navy Region Northwest. In addition, NRNW Police cooperates with specialty units in force protection and antiterrorism activities. These units include the EOD Detachment Northwest for CBRN and special operations enabling capabilities, as well as the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) to investigate serious criminal activity.
