7th Air Force "Strength in Diversity" The 7th Air Force is responsible for law enforcement and force protection in the United States Air Force ORGANIZATION: 607th Air Support Group: Conducts garrison security of USM installation, enforcing laws and punishing offenders. 607th Air Support Operations Group: Utilized for expeditionary policing operations, working with enemy prisoners of war, establishing field prisons, and working with intelligence organizations to extract valuable information from the adversary in austere environments. 607th Support Group: Tasked with the protection of designated VIP's. Trained and capable in hostage rescue situations, security, and crowd control. OSI: Houses the Criminal Investigations Division, which conducts internal investigations and audits of the USMG.
