Description
The Military Intelligence Corps provides the Cascadian Army with personnel responsible for providing timely, relevant, accurate, and synchronized intelligence and counterintelligence for use on the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. The branch answers to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence & Security, G2, who sits on the Army General Staff. The Commandant of the Army Intelligence School is charged with providing professional training to the Corps. Within lower echelon units, MI Officers act as those units' S/G2s, and as commanders of dedicated MIC units. Enlisted MI personnel reporting to these S/G2 sections and units can provide a myriad of services including intelligence gathering and analysis, operational and strategic security services, and counterintelligence. This Branch uses the Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) Designation 02XX.
