Description

The Hall of Vidhar, a gathering for followers of the ancestral Ásatrú faith and the new Heathen front. Landvíði (Old Norse "Wide Land" or "Woodland") is the hall of the god Vidhar (Old Norse "Víðarr") in the Nordic mythos. The hall possesses great natural beauty evocative of nature's gentle power and projects itself outwardly as a picture of solitude. The Patron God of this hall is Vidhar, the foretold avenger of Odhin (Old Norse "Óðinn") and the slayer of Fenrir (Old Norse "Fenrisúlfur"). He is the god of sustainability and regrowth. The High Shaman, Víðar Ólafsson, is named after Vidhar.
