Description
Built off the remnants of the old FLQ, and heavily backed by the USSR and its allies, the QIA is an organization composed of various leftist paramilitaries with the sole goal of establishing a socialist state in Quebec. Seeing the outbreak and its subsequent coverup as a capitalist failure, the QIA has drummed up the support of Quebecois and other Canadians, finding success in a nation becoming friendly to a new way of life every other day. Seizing banks, roads, armories, and checkpoints, the QIA has become a force to be reckoned with. Combined with Eastern Bloc support; it seems the QIA is unstoppable. However, massive infighting plagues the organization. Maoists fight anarchists on a daily, hardline socialists spar with social activists, and worse of all more reactionaries are joining the ranks; with motives known to none other than themselves. The QIA could soon fall into anarchy, and the dream of a revolutionary state may die quicker than it started.
