Description

The State Legislature is one of three branches of the government of the State of Lockridge. It is responsible for creating, amending, and (if necessary) abolishing the laws enforced by the executive and interpreted by the judiciary. The legislative power of this State shall be vested in a unicameral legislature, referred to as the Assembly, with a membership of ten, whose term shall be two months from taking office. The Lieutenant Governor shall be the presiding officer of the Assembly. Article II of the State Constitution empowers this body. Sic Semper Tyrannis.
