“THE PARAS” BRITAIN’S ELITE AIRBORNE INFANTRY -What do we expect? Paratroopers are trained to conduct a range of missions, from prevention and pre-emption tasks, to complex, high intensity war fighting. Watchwords are professionalism, resilience, discipline, versatility, courage and self-reliance. - Throughout the Years? The Parachute Regiment were formed in WWII and, save 1968, have been in constant action since. Determined and Courageous, they earned the nickname “Red Devils” from German Paras in North Africa. Heroic actions in Normandy, Arnhem, and Afghanistan are cemented in Regimental folklore. - How do you join? Make sure you have already joined the Main British Amy Group, and gain the rank “Private”. Also make sure you are in our communications server, where you can see the other Regiments and join the sub-communication servers. After that, join the regiment you wish to join and wait for a training to be hosted. ––British Army “Be the best”
