Description
During the Napoleonic Wars, the British Army underwent a period of tremendous development. The army had only 40,000 soldiers when the French Revolutionary Wars began in 1793, and it was a meager, poorly organized force. The numbers had significantly increased by the end of the time period. Over 250,000 soldiers made up the regular army at its height in 1813. "The only military force not to suffer a significant reverse at the hands of Napoleonic France" was the British infantry. ---------------------------------------------------------- Regiments - 1st Grenadier Guards - 79th Regiment of Foot - Royal Horse Guards - Royal Artillery - 95th Regiment of Foot ---------------------------------------------------------- Language: English
