Description
During the Wars of the Roses, England would not yet form the Church of England under Henry VIII, and its religious institutions were run by the Catholic Church of Rome. Throughout the middle ages, the Clergy rose to be incredibly powerful and influential in England's history and politics, and the church proved to be a key faction for the King's support. In the Wars of the Roses community, anyone may become a clergyman by simply joining the Clergy group. A clergyman cannot be a soldier of a house, though he can still be loyal to a house, or of its lineage. Clergymen just cannot participate in battles. Clergymen may leave the clergy at any time to pursue a career in battle or leadership if they so choose.
