The Church of God in Christ, Inc. (COGIC) is a religious organization in the Holiness-Pentecostal tradition. It is the largest Pentecostal denomination in the United States. The membership is predominantly African-American with millions of adherents. The Church has congregations in 112 countries around the world. Mission To seek and save that which is lost. The Church of God in Christ, Inc. (COGIC) is a denomination rich in history and passionate in our beliefs. We are governed by a 12-member board of directors " General Board " consisting of 12 Elected Bishops from within the organization. We are protected by a General Assembly consisting of delegates representing every church within our denomination. We are held accountable by our Judiciary Board who ensure the constitution of the organization is upheld to the highest standards. We also are held accountable by our National Board of Trustees who manage the financial aspect of our great church.
