They carry out security patrols and are in charge of monitoring for signs of intrusion in the vault, settling disputes between the residents, enforcing rules set down by the CEO and Vault-Tec, and defending it from all potential threats, essentially acting as a law enforcement agency and a private military organization hybrid. They also patrol the wasteland in an effort to proactively address potential threats to the Vault-Tec Corporation and to spread Vault-Tec Corporation's influence throughout the wasteland.
