Description
Welcome to ODC's Senate and People of Rome! 👋 Here, we immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of ancient Rome. 📜 Our group is named after the famous phrase "Senatus Populusque Romanus" (SPQR), which was the official emblem of the Roman Republic and later the Roman Empire. It translates to "The Senate and People of Rome," highlighting the shared power between the ruling class and the citizens. 📨 As a member of our group, you'll have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that showcase the legacy of Rome. We hold virtual events such as gladiatorial battles, and even senate debates. We also encourage members to share their knowledge of Roman history through discussions and educational resources. ⚔️ In addition, we strive to promote camaraderie and mutual respect among our members. We value diversity and inclusivity, and expect all members to treat each other with kindness and respect. ⚖️ So whether you're a history buff, a fan of ancient Rome, o
