Description
The interstellar fleet of the Union of Intergalactic Republics was the primary naval force tasked with the safeguarding of the UIR's territories and the enforcement of its galactic laws. The fleet was created immediately after the formation of the UIR in the year 2107, when the Earth and its inhabitants made contact with several different planets from multiple neighboring galaxies hosting intelligent, sentient life. This event later came to be known as "The Great Union". The UIR fleet's main instrument of operations is the Cascade-class Frigate, but also utilizes thousands of other cruisers and corvettes of varying model types, and a few hundred dreadnaughts.
