Description
The Yorkshire Yeomanry was formed by Lord Charles in the War of Roses genre, to consolidate the men under his command into an organised fighting force and specialise men-at-arms into several service areas such as siege engineers to ensure that the army was prepared for any scenario thrown at them. The Yeomanry is comprised of four subunits which can be distinguished by their designated equipment, firstly the swordsmen trained in melee combat and focusing on shield-based tactics, secondly the archers trained to be used in both a defensive and offensive capacity, thirdly the siege engineers experts in assaulting enemy strongholds and fortifying our own, finally our mounted lancers and dedicated cavalry force.
